Losiny Ostrov National Park
A real oasis offering an ideal hiding place from the noise of the Russian capital. Here, among dense forests, you can truly find and enjoy the silence and tranquility of untrammeled nature. The size of this urban national park means it has no equivalent in the world!
Losiny Ostrov (which means Moose Island) is famous for its natural landscapes, as well as the diversity of flora and fauna. It is a perfect place for walks, picnics, bike rides and sports. The main attraction of the park is a cascade of 7 ponds surrounded by luxuriant willows. As local rivers mostly do not freeze in cold weather, waterfowl over-winter in the park.

Kuskovo Estate
Discover this architectural monument from the XVIII century, where you can plunge into the atmosphere of Russian noble life, and learn a lot of interesting things about the life and culture of that time. In its time, Kuskovo was called the Versailles of Moscow, as this estate is breath-taking and compares to the gardens of French kings.

Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve
Admire this island of tsarist Moscow amidst a modern metropolis! The luxurious Grand Palace echoes the architectural masterpieces of St. Petersburg and Paris. The vast park and picturesque ponds suggest such a parallel to Versailles that Tsaritsyno is often called Moscow’s Versailles.
Make sure that your electronics have enough space — you can make a lot of great pictures here! The palace, made at the junction of neo-Gothic and classicism, looks equally spectacular both under the sunlight and in the evening lights; the same applies to the cozy bridges over the ponds. In Spring and Summer, rainbows dance across the splashing fountains and flowerbeds are dotted with flowers. In the golden autumn, “Tsaritsyn” is a work of natural art.
If you like outdoor activities, you can rent bicycles, scooters, and velomobiles, take a boat ride, and get an adrenaline rush in the ropes park. For children, “Tsaritsyno” offers exciting interactive excursions and informative master classes.

A picturesque corner of Moscow that attracts with its beauty and tranquility. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet, strolling along well-maintained paths among sprawling trees and flowers of all colors of the rainbow.
