Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre
The pavilion where Yuri Gagarin liked to visit. In 2018, the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre opened here. The main hit of the pavilion remains the mock-up of the Mir orbital station, where you can climb into and feel like a real cosmonaut. Also here you will find the 5D-cinema ‘Cosmic Sphere’, the only interactive exhibit of this format in the world, created specially for the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre at VDNKh. From the outside it looks like a 16-metre multimedia sphere showing the surfaces of the planets of the solar system. Inside it is a modern 5D-cinema, where the guests of VDNKh can make a virtual flight into space and pass the way of development and conquest of the Universe.
It also stores the soil brought from the Moon in 1972!
Soyuzmultpark
One of the pavilions of VDNKh houses the Soyuzmultpark multimedia center, a place to meet characters from Soviet cartoons. Even if your child is not familiar with Soviet cartoons, they will still be interested thanks to the opportunity for interaction, use of virtual and augmented reality technologies, as well as 3D-animations.
There are 18 attractions in Soyuzmultpark. All young visitors can climb into Carlson's house, paint a virtual fence, and “bake” pies in the oven. Older kids can fight robots and space pirates on a fictional planet, pilot an airship using special glasses, and draw their own cartoon character before bringing him/her to life.
Adults will enjoy the museum’s main hall, which has a timeline of the history of this legendary “cartoon factory.” And if the kids are capable of spending time without you, you can wait for them at a nearby cafe, sitting with a cup of coffee.
You can visit Soyuzmultpark on your own, as part of an organized group, or book an individual guided tour.

City Farm
A natural haven in VDNKh, the City Farm is a place for families to relax. You can look at farm animals: beautiful pedigree cows, goats and sheep, donkeys, rabbits, geese and chickens. But also be prepared to meet wild animals, including alpacas, reindeer, raccoons, and Arctic foxes. Many of the animals can be petted, walked, and fed with special food (which is available to buy at the farm).
There is also a small vegetable garden, greenhouse and garden. In addition to agricultural and creative workshops, there is a bigger educational program called the “Young Farmer's School.” Don't miss the themed photo zones - you can take especially good photos in the fall when the huge pumpkins are ripe.
While kids run around, adults can relax on poufs and loungers by the water, or strengthen their bodies at a yoga class. You can also fish here year-round. Sometimes, farmers from all over Russia deliver fresh produce. And if you fancy a bite to eat, head to the Farm Cafe.
