From space exploration to urban design — each route is a journey into the professions shaping tomorrow’s world.

Moscow is more than a city of monuments and grand boulevards — it is also a laboratory of the future. The City of Discoveries programme was created to expose schoolchildren and young people to modern industries and career paths through educational journeys.

Each route combines sightseeing, interactive games, and professional workshops, turning a classic tour into an adventure. Every location has its own storyline, tailored to various age groups, making the experience both engaging and accessible.

Discovery Routes include:

  • Transport & Space — Visit the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre with its full-scale spacecraft models, explore Moscow’s transport pavilion and take part in the foresight game — Constructors of the Future.
  • Biotechnology & Medicine — At the ATOM Museum and the Skolkovo Medical Cluster, participants try their hand at biomedical research, join a first-aid class with a simulation robot, and test their knowledge in a biomedical quiz.

How to Book

The Discovery Routes can be booked through official tour operators recommended by the Moscow Government. Programmes may last one or two days, depending on the group’s preferences.
