"Moskva" Cake
An edible symbol of the Russian capital
Created in 2015 by leading Moscow confectioners, the "Moskva" cake quickly became a modern classic. Though the city has existed for nearly nine centuries, it had never had a signature dessert — until this rich, nut-based creation came along.
The cake features layers of hazelnut meringue and a smooth, buttery filling enriched with sweetened condensed milk, ground hazelnuts, and a touch of cognac. It’s finished with white chocolate and a glossy red glaze — elegant, eye-catching, and unmistakably Moscow.
You’ll find it in cafés and pastry shops across the city, or packaged for gifting at gourmet food stores and souvenir counters.
"Moskva" Candies
Tiny treats, big city spirit
Meet "Moskva" candies — delicate milk chocolate confections filled with soft caramel and airy soufflé. Elegant and indulgent, they’re a sweet extension of the city’s edible identity. Following the success of the signature cake, Moscow city authorities introduced these candies as another tasty souvenir for visitors to take home.
The packaging is just as thoughtful as the treat itself, featuring illustrations of iconic city landmarks like the Kremlin and the monument to Yuri Dolgorukiy, the city’s legendary founder.
Perfect as gifts — or for enjoying on the way to your next stop — these candies turn a moment of sweetness into a memory of Moscow.
