Tea sets, iced tea, park pop‑ups, and a brand‑new porcelain souvenir — all summer long
From 30 May to 6 September 2026, Moscow Tea Time project invites you to explore the city’s tea culture across dozens of locations. Sip the signature Moscow tea blend at the Candy Box Pavilion on New Arbat, enjoy a quiet break in museum‑reserves like Izmailovo park, grab an open‑air buffet tea on Chistoprudny or Pokrovskiy Boulevard, and celebrate cold tea at the Moscow Ice Tea festival with over 500 cafés and restaurants. Plus, don’t miss the Tea Rave electronic music parties on Bolotnaya Square (27 June and 15 August).
Moscow Tea Houses
The flagship Tea House on New Arbat Avenue — the Candy Box Pavilion — is open 10:00–22:00 on weekdays and 09:00–22:00 on weekends. The venue combines a tea room and a gift shop, offering the signature Moscow tea blend, traditional Moscow pastries (such as kalachi and buns), and a range of products from local city brands including Made in Moscow. It is the perfect introduction to Moscow’s contemporary tea culture for both residents and international visitors.
Moscow Tea Houses offer signature Moscow tea and traditional pastries alongside local brands on Bolshaya Dmitrovka. Step away from the hustle and enjoy a quiet moment with loved ones or by yourself over a cup of Moscow tea and classic capital‑style pastries.
Parks, Boulevards & Beyond
From 30 May, a cosy tea tent appears in several spaces. Its location rotates monthly: June — Izmailovsky Park; August — Kuzminki‑Lyublino (near the Lyublino estate). Stands on Museum park, Chistoprudny, and Pokrovskiy boulevards serve as an open‑air buffet right by the Theatre Boulevard Festival stages — perfect for a short tea break between performances.
This summer, head to Bolotnaya Square for Tea Rave — a series of music parties blending electronic music, urban culture, and live communication. Enjoy tea tastings, interactive games, quizzes, and atmospheric DJ sets on 27 June and 15 August, 16:00–21:00.
In addition, from 1 June to 6 September, over 260 restaurants and hotels across Moscow will offer special Moscow Tea Time sets. Each set features the signature Moscow tea served alongside traditional Russian pastries in an elegant, reference-style presentation. The experience is further enhanced with atmospheric details — such as unique tableware, themed décor, or tailored serving rituals — that reflect the distinct concept of each participating venue, from luxury hotels to casual city cafés.
Moscow Ice Tea Festival
As part of the larger Summer in Moscow project, the gastronomic festival Moscow Ice Tea will run from 1 July to 31 August 2026 at over 500 cafés and restaurants across the capital. The festival offers a refreshing twist on traditional tea culture: guests can enjoy chilled tea drinks in original signature designs, with each venue presenting its own creative interpretation. From fruit-infused black teas and berry mixes to herbals with honey and ice, the festival invites visitors to discover their favourite summer flavour. With hundreds of participating locations, it’s a citywide celebration of cold tea, perfect for hot days and leisurely strolls.
Porcelain Tea Set
A new porcelain tea set in the project’s signature red‑and‑white design goes on sale in July 2026, making for a perfect Moscow summer souvenir. Crafted from high‑quality porcelain (traditionally bone china in the original collection), the set is both elegant and durable. The full service includes 14 pieces: four tea cups with saucers, a dessert plate, a sugar bowl, and a 1‑litre teapot. For added flexibility, items can also be purchased individually or in smaller sets to suit any number of guests. The collection will be available at the Dom Farfora retail chain and at Williams & Oliver stores across the city.
