Summer in Moscow festival starts on June 1

Moscow's biggest seasonal project, Summer in Moscow festival, starts on June 1 and runs for three months. Over 10,000 cultural, sports, and charity events will take place across all districts of the city, with most of them free to attend.

The program includes the “Moscow Estates” festival with readings, plays, and workshops at historic mansions; “Theatrical Boulevard 2025” featuring over 150 performances by 3,000 international artists; and the City Sports Festival, open to all ages and fitness levels.

History lovers can enjoy historical reenactments at the Times and Epochs festival. Parks and city streets will bloom with vibrant displays at the Gardens and Flowers festival, showcasing landscape design, art objects, and water gardens.

More than 50 parks will host morning fitness, immersive theatre, karaoke, and fun activities like inflatable water slides for both residents and tourists.
