First Russian Food Corner Opens in Jeddah
Russian products are coming closer to Saudi consumers: Al Roussi opens in Jeddah on October 21
Al Roussi, the first dedicated Russian food and consumer products corner within the Danube supermarket chain, opened on 21 October 2026 at Red Sea Mall in Jeddah. Developed by Welcome Alliance in collaboration with BinDawood Holding, the corner brings together more than 20 Russian brands in one retail space.
Al Roussi is a retail concept developed by Welcome Alliance in collaboration with BinDawood Holding, designed to introduce Russian brands and products to Saudi consumers through local supermarkets. The project creates a dedicated space where shoppers can explore Russian products while giving Russian manufacturers an opportunity to establish a presence in the Saudi market.
Shoppers can enjoy product tastings from 21 to 23 October and every Friday through 20 November. Visitors also have the chance to win a trip to Moscow for two, including seven nights at a five-star hotel and a selection of unique Russian experiences. The winner will be announced on 8 November on social media.
