New “Moscow Tea Time” porcelain collection
The Moscow Tea Time project presents a new porcelain collection inspired by the city’s architecture, colours, and everyday rituals.
Moscow reveals itself not only through the silhouette of the Kremlin, the lights of Moscow City, or the grandeur of its historic façades, but also in smaller moments: morning coffee, a family dinner, or tea brewed late in the evening. The new Moscow Tea Time porcelain collection, created in collaboration with Dom Farfora, brings this side of the capital to the table.
The collection’s signature colour is deep red, echoing Red Square, the theatre curtain, and Moscow’s energetic character. Across the cups, saucers, plates, and teapot appear graphic outlines of some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks, including the Kremlin and Spasskaya Tower, the Stalinist skyscrapers, and the modern towers of Moscow City.
Clean, elegant lines bring different architectural eras together in a single panorama, reflecting a city where history and contemporary life exist side by side.
Made from fine bone china, the pieces are light, durable, and delicately translucent. Their contemporary shape gives the collection a distinctive character while making it suitable not only for special occasions, but also for everyday rituals, from breakfast at home to an evening cup of tea.
The collection comes in seven combinations, ranging from individual pieces to a complete 14-piece tea service with four cup-and-saucer pairs, a dessert plate, a sugar bowl, and a one-litre teapot. The line also includes a napkin ring designed in the same signature style.
The collection can also become a memorable souvenir from Moscow, bringing the city’s familiar silhouettes and tea traditions into everyday life long after the journey is over.
The new Moscow Tea Time porcelain collection will be available at Dom Farfora stores and other kitchenware shops across the city.
Moscow Tea Time continues to introduce visitors to the capital through one of Russia’s most familiar traditions. More than 400 cafés, restaurants, and hotels across Moscow offer special tea sets, while the Moscow Tea Map helps guests discover different places and ways to experience the city’s tea culture. The signature “Moscow” tea blend, created for the project last year, is also available at selected participating venues.
