Russia and Jordan launch visa-free travel
Jordanian citizens may now visit Russia visa-free for up to 30 days, with a maximum stay of 90 days per year.

On 13 December 2025, the agreement on mutual visa-free travel between Russia and Jordan officially entered into force.
Under the new rules, citizens of Jordan can enter Russia without a visa for up to 30 days per visit, provided the purpose of travel is tourism, a private visit, or business. The total period of stay may not exceed 90 days within a calendar year.
The visa-free regime does not apply to those travelling for employment, commercial activity, studies, or permanent residence.
The agreement was signed in Moscow on 20 August 2025, by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and grants equal rights to citizens of both countries.
The new visa-free rules are expected to make travel to Russia easier for Jordanian tourists and support the growth of tourism and cultural exchange between the two countries.
