Moscow’s New Openings: Fall 2025 Guide
From a Japanese Bistro with Vinyl to an Art Commune

Moscow is a city in constant motion, where new projects continually reshape its cultural landscape. This selection highlights the city’s most inviting new venues — thoughtful, creative, and full of atmosphere. Each of them reflects Moscow’s multicultural spirit, offering a chance to experience the vibe of different countries through food, art, and design. These are warm, intelligent spaces that have already won the hearts of locals and visitors alike.
Found Ramen & Rekodo
Another highlight of summer 2025 is this Japanese bistro with a vinyl vibe. It’s the second project by the team behind Found Record Store & Pizzeria, a favourite hangout at Tsvetnoy shopping centre, where people come for both music and pizza. The new venue, located in Stoleshnikov Lane amid trendy bars and Russian designer boutiques, follows a similar concept but focuses on Japanese cuisine. The menu includes classics such as cucumber salads, seaweed dishes, crispy rice, kakiage fritters, and several varieties of ramen.

Maslovka: Artists’ Town Museum Centre
In September 2025, a new museum centre opened inside the world’s first artists’ commune — Maslovka: Artists’ Town. Created in the 1920s as an experimental art community, it was a pioneering project with nothing like it anywhere in the world. The idea was to provide artists with everything they needed to focus fully on their creative work: the commune included a canteen, laundry, tailor’s workshop, library, and even a solarium. Today, the newly opened museum hosts exhibitions, guided tours, discussions, and a range of cultural events, reviving the spirit of this historic creative enclave.

Uclad Space
In March 2025, a conceptual venue opened on Bolshaya Polyanka Street, combining a wine bar, lecture hall, coffee shop, and art space. The interior is minimalistic yet inviting: wood, concrete, and plenty of open space make it a pleasure simply to be there. From 9:30 a.m., Uclad serves freshly brewed coffee and pastries — the perfect start to the day. In the evening, the focus shifts to tastings, with a wine list featuring sparkling and still wines from the Old World, as well as pet-nats, accompanied by small plates. Another reason to stop by is the concept store, offering art and design pieces created by Russian craftsmen. Visitors can preview the collection online before coming in person.

Multicultura Gastro Bistro
This welcoming bistro serving world cuisine opened in March 2025 on Prechistenka Street — one of Moscow’s most charming old lanes. The warm-toned interior, filled with tasteful and curious details, creates a perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The concept was inspired by the multicultural background of founder Maksim Polzikov, and the menu reflects it beautifully: Israeli hummus sits alongside Spanish jamón, while Azerbaijani qutabs — delicate stuffed flatbreads — are followed by a Russian salad with Baltic eel. The restaurant’s regional dishes take you on a culinary journey across continents, complemented by a selection of wines and signature cocktails.
Address: Prechistenka Street, 24/1

BLAR
In July 2025, the cultural and educational centre BLAR opened in the Garden Quarters residential complex in the leafy Khamovniki district. Here, an exhibition hall and lecture space are combined with a fine-dining restaurant. Visitors can admire works by contemporary Russian artists and then extend their cultural experience with a memorable meal. The menu features elegant comfort food: scallop ceviche, duck pâté, prawn risotto, salmon steak, and a few refined desserts.

Marcelo Miracles Shop & Bar
A blend of streetwear boutique and street food bar — the winning formula for one of Moscow’s liveliest nightlife areas. Marcelo Miracles, which opened in August 2025 on Krivokolenny Lane, embraces contrasts: the shop interior is minimalist and grey to keep attention on the clothes, while the bar glows in deep red tones and soft lighting. The food is deliberately playful — think chicken nuggets with black caviar, truffle smash burgers, or crab gratin with red caviar. The drinks list features Italian and French wines as well as light cocktails based on sherry and vermouth.
Address: Krivokolenny Lane, 10с6
